The REM610C55HCNN02 motor protection relay integrates a fault recording module
The REM 610 incorporates a fault recording module with four analog input channels and up to eight user-selectable switching channels to record the instantaneous or effective value of the measured quantity. The fault recording module can be triggered by any protected start or trip signal, simultaneously or independently by the falling or rising edge of the switching signal.
REM 610 is based on microprocessor technology. The self-test system continuously monitors the operation of the internal electronic components and software of the relay. The system monitors the fault status during operation and alerts immediately when a fault occurs. If the self-test system detects a permanent failure inside the relay, all protection functions and output contacts are locked to prevent the relay from operating incorrectly. In addition, the indicating LED will be lit and a fault code generated, enabling rapid fault analysis. REM 610 introduces a number of new features that make it ideal for a range of applications.
