The pioneering new ii-A1 and ii-A2 modules from Eurosquare are the first of any supplier to be certified CFX compliant by IPC. The IPC-CFX standard stands for Connected Factory Exchange and is the industry reference for data exchange between machines in the electronics production ecosystem. CFX has been fully accepted by Europlacer as part of the company’s commitment to contribute a standardized, connected ecosystem to the electronics production environment.
Like all current Europlacer models, the new ii-A1 and ii-A2 modules export data in CFX format to ensure broad Industry 4.0 compatibility. These two new modules were submitted for IPC’s CFX certification, becoming the first placement system to receive this industry accolade.
With its “integrated intelligence” software ecosystem, Europlacer already offers fully automated data interconnection solutions for board manufacturers in its ii-RC operating system and ii-Promon software applications. These resources allow users to generate, store, and analyze production, performance, diagnostic, and traceability data. The Europlacer software protocol enables easy data exchange with most manufacturers’ business management software suites, and CFX in particular enables Europlacer products to communicate with other CFX-enabled equipment in the factory.
