The Ethernet Security Open Protocol (FSoE) defines the communication layer related to Ethernet security. The NX security controller and distributed security I/O can be freely placed in the EtherCAT network, and their integration into the Sysmac Studio software environment simplifies the initial system design, setup, and maintenance of the application. With this integrated system, machine manufacturers can focus on improving machine performance and safety, rather than system configuration. Sysmac integrated security is designed to meet the most demanding applications, conforming to the Performance rating (PLe) of ISO-13849-1 and SIL3 of IEC61508. Sysmac integrates security in accordance with the programming standard IEC-61131-3 and includes certified PLCopen security feature blocks.
