RS-FS-9001 Flame Sensor – Detector
The Flame Tracker features a SiC photodiode that is highly sensitive to longer ultraviolet wavelengths that easily penetrate fuel and steam fog. This compares favorably with typical flame sensors that are only sensitive to short UV wavelengths. In addition, SiC sensors have an analog output with a very wide dynamic range and fast response time. These features can quickly report the flame status in less than 25 milliseconds.
