IC695CHS007 backplane

The IC695CHS007 is a universal backplane. It is part of the PACSystem RX3i platform and is currently owned by Emerson Automation.
The backplane has a slot for the IC695 power supply (slot 0) and a PCI/ serial based IO slot (Slots 1-5) as well as a PCI only slot (slot 6). It supports IC695, IC694 and IC693 I/O and option modules or RX3i and 90-30 series modules. In addition, the backplane has an internal current of 5 mA at 240 volts DC and 3 mA at 600.3 volts DC.

The IC695CHS007 backplane is available in two versions, the initial IC695CHS007-AA and later IC695CHS007-BA, the latter of which includes a number of mechanical enhancements, notably a backplane PCI connector for the chassis. The backplane is intended for horizontal installation only and is recommended for installation in a protective housing with a minimum protection level of IP 20 (NEMA Type 1).
The IC695CHS007 backplane is a replacement for the 90-30 series system with an input voltage of +24V, making it ideal for applications with limited installation space or remote I/O architectures.
