531X303MCPARG1 Corporation has released version 8.2.2 of its WindLDR PLC programming software, a PC-based platform for programming IDEC’s FC6A MicroSmart PLC. The software can also be used to program IDEC’s entire PLC family.
Iot capabilities are provided by custom web pages that can be configured for remote monitoring. Web pages are created through the built-in web editor using drag and drop functionality and do not require HTML programming.
When used with a 531X303MCPBBG1 FC6A PLC, these web pages are stored in the PLC, which can be used as a web server when its built-in Ethernet port is connected to the Internet. These pages can be accessed through any web browser running on any Internet-connected device, such as a remote computer, tablet, or smartphone. Connecting MicroSmart to the Internet also provides email and text notification capabilities that can be used with third-party email servers such as Gmail and Yahoo.

This feature allows users to write new values to counters, timers, and registers at any time without having to switch between edit mode (for programming) and monitor mode.

This feature provides a way to test and verify the functionality of a ladder diagram program without having to download the program to IDEC PLC. Software programs for IDEC FC4A and FC5A PLCS can be automatically converted by WindLDR programming software for execution on MicroSmart FC6A PLCS.
