BCU-12 3AUA0000110430 ABB module

The BCU-12 analog output module has 8 channels. The module includes intrinsically safe protection components and HART interfaces on each channel for connection to process equipment in hazardous areas without the need for additional external equipment.

Each channel can drive up to 20 mA of loop current to field loads, such as Ex certified current pressure converters, and is limited to 22 mA under overload conditions. All eight channels are isolated from a set of module buses and power supplies. The power supply for the output stage is converted from the 24 V on the power supply connection.
