Relatively speaking, S7-300/400 shift instruction function is not strong S7-200, its characteristics are as follows:
①S7-300/400 can only carry out integer I, double-word integer DI right shift, word or double word left, right move, double word circular movement a total of 8 kinds of shift operations.
② The shift of S7-300/400 can only be carried out by accumulator 1, when the memory needs to be shifted, the contents of the memory should be moved to the accumulator 1 first.
③ The shift operation of S7-300/400 can only be carried out on word and double-word data, and cannot be used for bytes.
④ For integer I and double-word integer DI, only the right shift operation can be performed, and the “empty space” after the data is moved out automatically fills the status of the symbol bit continuously (positive number is “O”, negative number is “1”).
The removed last bit of state is saved in the CC1 bit of the status word.
⑥ The shift digit N can be specified in two ways:
— Specify the number of bits directly in the instruction;
If no bits are specified in the instruction, store the value as the move bits in the low byte of accumulator 2.
Figure 10-5.4 shows the ladder programming format of the S7-300/400 shift instruction.
