The 4-channel Relay module 3500/32-01-00 is a relay module from Bently Nevada.

RIM is compatible with Bently Nevada external communications processors such as TDXnet, TDIX, and DDIX. Although RIM performs certain activities that are shared by the entire rack, it is not part of an important monitoring channel and has no impact on the normal performance of the overall monitoring system. Each frame needs one rim. The 3500 system requires a TMR RIM for three-mode multiplex (TMR) applications. In addition to all normal RIM functions, TMR RIM also performs a “monitor channel ratio.” Monitor voting is implemented in the 3500 TMR configuration using the Settings indicated in the monitor options. TMR RIM uses this mechanism to continuously compare the output of three multiple monitors. If TMR RIM determines that the information from one of the monitors is no longer within a predetermined percentage of the information from the other two monitors, it marks that monitor as an error and logs an event in the system event list.
