3. External DC24V power supply. If the input circuit has DC24V proximity switch, photoelectric switch, etc., and the DC24V power supply capacity on the PLC is not enough, DC24V power supply should be provided from the external; However, the “-” end of the power supply should not be connected to the “-” end and “COM” end of the PLC’s DC24V power supply, otherwise it will affect the operation of the PLC.
4. Input sensitivity. Each manufacturer has a regulation on the input voltage and current of the PLC, when the input current of the input component is greater than the maximum input current of the PLC or there is a leakage current, there will be wrong action, reduce sensitivity. 5. External interlock and grounding. (1) Interlock. When the PLC is used to control the positive and reverse action of the motor, in order to avoid accidents and mechanical damage caused by the abnormal action of the PC, an interlock circuit should be formed outside.
(2) Grounding: In order to ensure the safety of the PLC control system, the PLC needs to be reliably grounded in practical applications. The ground cable must not be shared with other equipment or connected with the metal structure of the building, otherwise it will backfire and be adversely affected.
6.PLC external drive circuit. In the case that the PLC output cannot directly drive the load, a drive circuit must be used externally, which can be driven by a solid-state relay or thyristor circuit, and a protection circuit and a surge absorption circuit should be used.
